On August 19th, Dr. Liu Zhaohui, CEO of HUIEN TECHNOLOGY company, and Bian Changzheng, Counselor and Consul in charge of business affairs of our Consulate, attended the final event of the "NexStar2024" project and presented awards to the winning teams. Melbourne City Councillor Liu Le, Australia-China Scientists Entrepreneurship Association (ACASE), Australia-China Business Council Victoria Branch, representatives of Chinese enterprises and local students, Ji Xuecui and Gao Lupeng, consuls of our embassy attended the event.
Launched in 2018 by the City of Melbourne and the Australia-China Scientist Entrepreneurship Association, the NexStar project aims to build a bridge between university students and enterprises to start their own businesses. "NexStar2024" aims to promote the cooperation between Melbourne-Tianjin sister cities, and matches Melbourne university students with technology companies from Tianjin and Jiangsu to explore business opportunities and strategies for enterprises from both places to enter the Melbourne and Victorian markets. The NexStar event lasted for nearly a month, and 5 projects were selected to make it to the finals.
